Ring Bound Wedding Guest Book "Pink FLoral"

Hi, Just a slight warning that this post is heavy with pictures because it's a wedding guestbook where I bounded several pages of patterned papers from Blue Fern Studios (gorgeous collection, by the way!) and had almost every page well decorated at one corner. At first, I thought I could get it done in a jiffy since I'm only decorating a small corner but gosh, it got pretty tough halfway through. But I figured out a faster way to do and that was to do two pages at one time and not to overthink on the layering process. Wedding Congratulatory Card in White & Gold

Sometimes I have to work based on a past design but knowing me, I usually don't like to follow the design to a T but I would take elements from it as a form of inspiration. As for this, I made a frame and had a sticker of a wedding cake as the central theme. I then decorated mainly the two corners diagonally with each other with clusters of cut out flowers and a piece of diecut that I cut out from gold foil. To maximised the use of the diecut, I cut it into several parts and then had them mixed in with the paper flowers and paper cut outs of the flowers. I also cut out some hearts in gold glitter to add some decorations instead of just having flowers since it's a love wedding card. One of the things that help to fill up space is enamel dots and you can purchase them in a pack of multi colours and I got this pack that are mostly in pastel colours. Hey everyone, I took a short break recently though I still am making cards. There are times I get overwhelmed and then would need to sort out my thoughts. But I also realise that the best way to cope is to also take it one day at a time and see how best you can handle the situation and improve along the way. Passion can help you get through difficult times when you're facing obstacles, one after another, but another trait to have is grit, so that you don't give up easily. Still, I also believe we need a break too so that we can come back more refreshed and with more creative ideas. That is why one of the major changes you see here is the new website layout.
