Easel Birthday Card in Pastel Shades

Easel Birthday Card in Sweet Pastel Colours
I adore easel cards because of how the stand allows the cover to be propped up. Just recently, I learnt another way of propping the card by making a separate stand and I can't wait to make a single layered card to use with the stand. As for this card, I picked out embellishments and patterned papers that were in pastel colours  and also created a bunting using leftover scrap papers.

In order to add a contrasting colour to all the pastel shades, I painted a chipboard with a scroll and heart shape using Tim Holtz Picket Fence paint, added a layer of multi-medium matte glue and then sprinkle sugar crystals from Prima Marketing. To seal in the glitter, I added another layer of the glue.
