Sometimes in life, you meet people who are appreciative of your work and it makes it worthwhile to be in this line creating for these people. But of course, there are others who may seem to be a little on the perfectionist side though I can't blame them wholly especially when it's meant to be given away.
Plus, if you're paying for something, chances are you want to make your money worth it although it does help to think that a handmade thing is not an easy thing to do, even if one has many years of experience behind it.
Sorry if that sounded like a mini rant but well, that's life. You meet all sorts of people. Sometimes you have to be tactful how you handle such people because most don't mean no harm. Anyhoo, on to the usual programming, lol!
This card is very similar to one I did quite some time back. I've been making many box cards and I've been asked to make more complex ones although to be honest, I am not that technical. I prefer designing rather than getting all twisted or confused with measurement and stuffs. Therefore, this card actually allows me to do just that, designing that is.
I loved how the patterned paper from Prima Marketing has this curtain like designs which I cut out and made the shape that you see on top of the card. I then embellish it with pearl strings and a resin, also from Prim Marketing. The heart chipboard is from Crate Paper and I had scrolls which I think I painted in white gesso and then poured glitter on it.
So in designing cards or papercrafting in general, it's good to explore different techniques and just let the creative juices flow. Inspiration is everywhere. You just need the patience to learn and develop your own style.
Hope you like this card design! If you do, feel free to share the post and also send your order queries via the side bar if you wish for me to customize a card for you.
Thanks for dropping by!
