I have been doing quite a number of mini albums, it's crazy, haha. This was just one of them. But honestly, I enjoyed doing them, coming up with the designs using my current and old sticker stash, stamp sets and dies.
My only regret was that I didn't buy the set of stickers again and now it was gone, haha. I didn't think I would actually make full use of it for several albums but I did. Now the other shop was closed, it was not possible to buy a new one unless they did a restock which I am not sure either if they would.
Anyway, here is a pastel coloured birthday and loved themed mini album which kickstarted the rest of my mini album projects.
Stamp sets can be pretty expensive but I liked those that comes with phrases. I would stamp them on patterned papers and cut them out. I know some people liked to colour in their stamps but depends on the designs too.
I loved using stickers because they were so easy to use as decorations especially those with basic designs like stars and word phrases. They helped the pictures to tell a story as well.
While my past designs used to be very cluttered, I still do layering and sometimes, I use a basic shape sticker design as the bottom layer and then add on to them.
Here I used a die and to fully make use of the diecut, I cut it into half and used them on two separate pages to keep to the same design scheme. From the patterned paper, I cut these heart shapes and used a foam tape to prop one of the hearts in each cluster. To fill up the space, I used bigger sized stickers to fill in the corners.
