This bookmark may look simple, and incomplete without the ribbon, but it holds dear to a friend of mine who learn how to make it from me, in a fast food restaurant, with a quote that resonates with her. The funny thing was that the quote, which is actually a piece of sticker from another sticker sheet, got stuck to the plastic bag for the items I was carrying. It's as though the sticker traveled with me with a mission, that it was made to be an inspiration for my friend.
We shared many stories of ourselves, such as our current developments in life and our hope and goals for the future. We also shared our fears for the uncertainties in life. Nobody knows for sure what will happen in future but we don't want to lead our lives as though we're in a protective bubble.
