My hope for this year, for MLCS is basically to earn more money ;p No, that is not my main motivation. Yes, it does supplement my income, in small but big ways, because like any other ahem..filial daughter and big sister, I don't want to be trapped in a situation where I am constantly thinking, how do I support them the next day...when pay day is SOOOO long away?
It's a battle I hate to lose and sometimes I find myself on the verge of it, especially when things aren't picking up. That's why sometimes I wish I have not grown up because I don't have to deal with 'grown ups' problems but the things, it's inevitably part of life. It's a matter of how you learn to deal and come out strong from all of these. Many people define success as making more money, getting big ticket items like a condo or car or go on one of those expensive vacays. I certainly would like to of course go on a vacay like those beautiful places that others go and post on facebook. I won't say I can't afford, I know I can but now it's not the right time.
NOW is the time for me to work hard and hopefully, in 2 and a half years' time..I get to go to Australia and not just Malaysia, which even then, were mostly paid for ;p Traveling, to me, allows me to enjoy the cultures of other countries, see a different part of the world and see God's creations. While I may have mentioned before that all my savings from here have gone to some emergencies, which I can't quite describe here, I am determined to press the restart button and hope for the best.
If you work hard and with a lot of sincerity in your heart, God will help you. He won't help if you won't help yourself first and just wish for this and that. Life isn't made to be that easy.
I would simply like to pick up more skills, get more orders (but of course!) and I hope to get returning customers who come back because they simply like what they get and also to help me spread the words about my humble online shop. I make only custom orders which is my unique selling point. You get to tell me how you would like it customized or even personalized and I get to do the rest. Also because with my full time job, part-time studies and making custom orders, I hardly time to do so, LOL.
So what are your new resolutions for 2014? I altered a notebook cover and giving it away on my facebook.
